What is Musikgarten?

Musikgarten, an internationally recognized program in early childhood music and movement, has a long-standing reputation as the leader in the field of affordable early music education. KUMC is happy to announce we will be offering Musikgarten classes for infants through preschool aged children.

A parent, grandparent or significant care taker is required to participate in the class with the child.

The class size is limited to seven families per in-person class. Please see below for registration fee and semester tuition costs (Family Music Packs are included in tuition costs.) See details below for various age group classes.

Summer 2022 Enrollment

  • Summer Session runs from June 1st through June 29th with a break on June 15th for VBS
  • The classes taught by teachers who are trained musicians certified through Musikgarten.

Fees & Schedules

Tuition covers the entire semester.

$5 per child discount before May 1st.

Summer Baby/Toddler Class (Newborn to 3 yr)

Parent, grandparent or significant caretaker is required to participate in the class with the child.

Class size minimum is 4 families and maximum is 10 families per class. 

Basic Tuition: $45 per child

Wednesday 9:30-10am – REGISTER

Summer Cycle (3-5 yr)

Parent, grandparent or significant caretaker is required to participate in the class with the child.

Class size minimum is 4 families and maximum is 10 families per class. 

Basic Tuition: $45 per child

Wednesday 10:30-11:00am – REGISTER

Summer Family (Newborn to 5 yr)

Parent, grandparent or significant caretaker is required to participate in the class with the child.

Class size minimum is 4 families and maximum is 10 families per class. 

Basic Tuition: $45 per child

Wednesday 11:30-12pm – REGISTER

General Policies & Procedures

  • Tuition costs cover the entire semester.
  • Music Packs contain all lesson material for both semesters.
  • A parent, grandparent, or significant care taker is required to participate in the class with the child
  • Class size is limited to seven families per in-person class.
  • We follow Humble School District holiday/inclement weather closings.
    • If classes canceled – we will be closed.
    • If delayed schedule – classes will meet at scheduled times.
    • If class must be canceled – a make-up class will be held at a later date.
  • Masks are optional for adults during in-person classes
  • Illness: Please keep your child at home if s/he is ill.
  • Tardiness: If you must be late (we understand it happens sometimes!), please come in quietly join in the activity.
  • Regular, punctual attendance is essential for the sequential learning inherent in the Musikgarten curriculum.
  • If your child needs to be absent for any reason, it is helpful to let us know either by e-mail or phone call.
  • There are no refunds for missed classes; however, we are happy to provide a make-up class during the semester when possible.
  • Please
    • No cell phones during class.
    • Do not carry on personal conversations when we are singing.
    • Keep all snacks and toys out of the classroom.
