One way to give to the work of the Kingdom at KUMC is through the safe, convenient online giving program. Features of the online giving program include:
- Gifts executed online are safe. All banking information is handled through our secure merchant account, Subsplash
- KUMC accepts designated gifts, provided the designated fund is established
- Giving may be set so that it is recurring, scheduled at the desired frequency such as weekly, monthly, every two weeks, or twice a month
- KUMC will provide an annual giving statement to contributors prior to January 31 of each year
Contributors may contribute as KUMC Community Members or KUMC Community Guests.
Members may create a Subsplash login ID and password by choosing Sign Up when prompted on the second screen. Once contributors provide an e-mail address from a primary e-mail account, a password will be sent by e-mail.
Guest contributors may give as a guest by entering an email address and selecting Continue as Guest on the second screen.
2023 Estimate of Giving
God gave the growth 1 Corinthians 3:6 (ESV)
Celebrating 50 years of ministry in our church has shown that these words of Paul are as true for our church today as they were 2,000 years ago for the church in Corinth. Joyfully looking forward to 2023, we are asking for your help as we begin a new chapter in the life of our church.
This packet includes two important pieces of information, a Connect Form and an Estimate of Giving Card. These tools invite you to fulfill your vows to support the church with your prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness.
The Connect Form encourages you to find at least one place of connection in service beyond worship. Our goal is to give you the opportunity to know where you can be prayerful, present, and serve in the life of the church. The Estimate of Giving Card provides you the ability to share with the Finance Committee what you feel God is leading you to give to our church in 2023.
This year we need to hear from every family about how God is leading you to give financially to our church. For a variety of reasons, 2023 poses unique challenges and opportunities for our church. Please prayerfully consider increasing the amount you give this year. Your generosity, which has helped us thrive over these last 50 years, will help us meet our ministry and operational needs in the coming year and beyond.
After completing your Estimate of Giving Card, you may mail it back to the church, drop it off in the church office, or place it in the offering plate on Sunday morning. The Finance Committee will decide on our ministry budget based on your responses. As such, we respectfully request all Estimate of Giving Cards be returned by December 4th, 2022. Just as important, the completed Connect Form will help leadership facilitate you experiencing the joy of connected service and fellowship, the hallmark of our congregation.
Just before Paul says, “God gives the growth,” he spoke directly about how he and Apollos gave themselves to God through planting and watering. They were creations of God, blessing the world by giving back to the Creator. Great joy abounds when we give back to God and watch how He gives the growth. May the growth of the last 50 years continue to glorify God as we begin the next 50 years in the life of our church. Thank you for your faithful support of our church and ministries!
Gratefully, your 2023 Stewardship Team: Katie & Brian Floeck, Mimi & Clay Lawson, Kristina & Nick Lenderman, Jill & Josh Morrison, Kimberly & Scott Watson
