Adult Classes

“More to Life” Groups

Modeled after traditional Wesleyan class meeting groups, More to Life Groups are more than adult classes. They are small communities within the larger church in which members share where God is working in their lives, support each other with love and prayer, connect to, and serve the Body of Christ in tangible ways outside of worship and Bible study.

Life is better together — let’s find your group!

Sunday School Classes

We offer a variety of Adult Sunday School classes. Whether you’re a young adult or a senior adult, there are classes for every age group. A few of our classes are listed below. If you would like a more detailed list of all of our classes, please email Rev. Jeremy Bass. We hope you’ll join us this Sunday!

The Harvest Class

The Harvest Sunday school class is for college age and young adults who are looking for Christ-centered friendships rooted in the truth of scripture.

New Life Class

All ages are welcome! This class aims to encounter the power of the Holy Spirit, not just on Sunday but every day of the week. We will center reading and discussion around the Scripture and testimony & prayer time. Our hope is that many will experience God’s powerful movements, and we want to pray over them! As a result, we are hoping that “we would bear much fruit and prove to be His disciples” John 15:8.

Genesis Class

The group for adults with children of all ages! In the Genesis class, you’ll discuss both scripture and today’s issues from a Biblical perspective. Expect to laugh and pray as you walk on the road to know God better.

Disciples Class

Adults ages 40’s to 60’s. Class members take turns leading class discussions. Fellowship activities occur throughout the year. Many missions projects are supported by this class. One of the hallmarks of this class is their caring, nurturing community.

Aldersgate Class

For adults ages 50+, members of the class take turns leading studies. Frequent social events are held during the year, with Sunday brunches scattered throughout.

Apostles Class

For adults ages 55+, the class focuses on Biblically-based and faith-strengthening studies that relate to daily living. The teachers primarily utilize a combination of lecture and open discussion that serves to encourage class participation and involvement. The Apostles Class supports and is involved in a number of local and international missions. Throughout the year, they enjoy a variety of social activities and events in the Kingwood / Humble/ Houston area in an effort to enhance the class fellowship. Learn more about our Apostles class.

Please join us for a study of Ephesians with the pastors on Wednesday nights after The Table. We will be diving into this book together, but if you’d like to go deeper during the week, you can purchase ‘The Letter to the Ephesians’, a study book with daily devotionals. GAP Parents Study

Grassroots Apologetics for Parents (GAP) is a bible-centered ministry that works with local churches to equip parents with an understanding of world view and apologetics which is how to make a case for and defend the truth of Christianity. The goal is to close the “GAP” that exists for parents between knowing the world will challenge their kids’ faith and knowing what to do about it. This study targets parents of children between the ages of 10-18. Book available for $12 at the first class.
