School for Little Children
Our School for Little Children -SLC- weekday ministries program has been providing families in the Kingwood community with early childhood care and education since 1975. The school is committed to the development of the whole child. Teachers are dedicated, skilled, experienced and receive educational training throughout the year. They strive to help each child develop and grow emotionally, socially, physically, intellectually, creatively and spiritually.
The classroom environment is non-pressured and includes developmentally appropriate curriculum. Active learning, problem solving and happy, accepting relationships all work together to provide a positive experience away from home and excitement about learning in a structured environment. Star Spangled Summer Kids Day Out at SLC!
Theme: God’s GIFTS (Growing In Faith This Summer)
When: July 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23, 28 & 30; 9:30 am-2:30 pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays
Who: Age 15 months (by July 7, 2009) – completed 5th grade
Why: To provide a fun-filled, Christian place for children to grow in faith through crafts, music, fellowship & more. To provide a safe, loving environment for children so that parents can fulfill their own needs (run errands, have quiet time, pay bills, relax, etc.).
What: Music and Motor Skills, science labs, cool crafts, energetic music, free time in gym and on playground, pizza (optional), playdates with friends without messing up your house!
Cost: Registration fee is $25 and Tuition is $140
